Girls soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls soccer team improved to 11-1-1 overall (10-0-1 Patriot League)with a 3-0 win over Patriot League opponent Silver Lake. Olivia Borgen led the charge with 2 first half goals and completed the hatrick with her third goal in the second half. A key moment in the game was when WH was leading 2-0 and Silver Lake was awarded a penalty shot. Goalkeeper Kylee Colclough made an outstanding diving save to help preserve the shutout. Defender Ava Melia was outstanding along with Sam Perkins and Courtney Woodward. Goalkeepers Kylee Colclough and Reese Codero combined for the shutout.
