Girls Soccer Back in Driver's Seat

The Whitman Hanson girls soccer team defeated Hingham 3-1. Hingham opened the scoring 20 minutes into the game and Mackenzie Hatfield responded 3 minutes later with a blast, into the upper corner, from 25 yds out. Cassie Chernicki put Whitman Hanson up 2-1 10 minutes into the second half off a scramble in front of the net. Devon Morse sealed the win with a well placed shot into the lower corner. The Whitman Hanson defense kept Hingham in check for most of the afternoon. Alyssa Eaton, Haley Bukow, Devon Howard, Nina Zappi and Lily Higgins all turned in outstanding defensive efforts in front to goalkeeper Lauren Clark
