It was an incredible weekend for Whitman-Hanson Regional
High School as two teams won state championships. On Saturday, the girls cross country team
blew away the rest of the field to capture their first ever state title taking
home the division 1 championship with an incredible team effort at Franklin
Park.
The weekend was capped off with the cheerleading team
turning in a stellar performance at Shrewsbury High School to capture the
Division 1 state title. The girls also
won the state championship last winter and have now won 5 state titles overall.
Congratulations to both
teams for these incredible accomplishments.
