Boys Basketball Feels at Home in Hanover

The Whitman-Hanson boys basketball let it rain in the inaugural game of Hanover High Schools new gym. Junior Dondre James (22 points) and Senior captain Alex Nuby (21 points) each drilled 6 3-pointer apiece to power the Panthers to an 85-70 win over the Indians. The Panthers hit 17 3-pointers in the game. Junior Blake Hickey add 12 points and Junior Steven Rice hit two big 3’s in the first quarter to help propel a 25 point quarter. The Panthers improve to 1-1 in the Patriot League, while Hanover falls to 1-1 in the league and 1-2 overall.
