Great Start for Boys Track

The Boys’ Indoor Track Team had an explosive start to the season with an 85-15 win vs. Middleboro at the Reggie Lewis Center in the head coaching debut of Jeff Andrews. The Panthers competed well across the board from the first gun for the hurdles through the relays at the end of the meet. Although there were impressive performances throughout the meet these are the team’s first place finishers:

· Dom Cacciatore won the 55 meter, 300 meter, and the long jump

· Pat Ryan won the 2 mile

· Pat Mulrey won the mile

· Ian MacDonald won the shotput

· Nate Stephansky won the 1000

· Steve Croghan won the high jump

The relay teams set outstanding times with the 4X400 meter team posting a league best effort. Nate Stephansky, Cory Paquette, John Caliri, Hank Moylan, Dave Bailey, Dylan Foreau, Paul Kennedy, and Steve Croghan all contributed to the success of the relays.

It was a great day on the track and in the field. The team now goes back to work to prepare for Duxbury on Tuesday.
