Field Day For WH Boys' Track: The Division II State Relay meet was a tremendous success thanks to the aid of parents, volunteers, athletes, and staff. There were outstanding performances throughout the day, but the most noteworthy came out of the afternoon field event competition. The Boys' high jump relay of Blake Hickey, Dondre James, and Brian Cashman easily took 1st place, The discus relay of Chris Ryan, Corey Burns, and Jake Roumanos took 2nd, and the triple jump relay took 2nd setting a new school record! The triple jump record set by Nate Ross, Matt Small, and Rob Gould (121' 1.5") has stood since 1997. Blake Hickey, Dondre James, and Andrew Howard set the new mark at 122' 3". Congratulations on setting a new school record! The team finished in 6th place overall on the day and now looks ahead to Silverlake at home on Tuesday.
