Boys Tennis Makes History!

The 2012 Boys Tennis team made history today by becoming the first squad ever to make the state tournament by beating Quincy, 3-2. It was an awesome match as both teams were 7-8 before play, so both needed the win to make tournament. Erik boudreault and Mike Szczesny won at 2nd doubles, 6-2, 6-3 and Anthony Iannone won at 2nd singles 6-2, 6-3. Quincy won 1st singles and first doubles leaving it up to Mike Cordaro at 3rd singles. He'd already won the 1st set 6-4, then he lost the second set 6-4!!!! He dug deep and won the final set, 6-1 giving the Panthers their 8th victory of the season and a ticket to the post season dance. Congratulation to Coach Jones and the entire team!
