Boys Track Come up Short in Quest for Title

The Boys’ Track team took a tough loss competing against a strong Hingham team at Hingham on Tuesday with a final score of 50.5-85.5. The Panthers came out swinging with Andrew Howard and Chris Ryan taking 1st and 2nd in the 400 hurdles. Nate Stephansky ran an amazing 2:00.3 in the 800 for the win, Pat Ryan won the 2 mile, Luke Laubacher and Tom Sapienza competed well in the javelin, and Corey Burns came up big in the shot and disc. The 4X100 team of Yannik Blanke, Dom Cacciatore, Cory Paquette, and Blake Hickey also contributed a win. Despite a great effort, the harbormen had the edge on the panthers and took home the win. The Panthers will now refocus for the South Shore Principal’s Meet at Norwell High School on Saturday.
