The Whitman-Hanson golf team evened their third consecutive win today at Ridder Farm Golf Course against perennial powerhouse Hingham.
The Panthers edged out a one stroke victory over the Harbormen (believed by many to be "the team to beat") 228-229 behind junior captain Shane Devlin, who shot an impressive even par 34, and sophomore Alex Burbank, who finished with a 3 over par, 37.
The team's league record improves to 4-4 and their overall record improves to 5-5. They hope to keep their winning streak alive as they travel to Widow's Walk to face off against Scituate High School.
