The Whitman-Hanson girls cross country team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 15-50 victory over Middleboro. The race was on Whitman-Hanson’s 5k course.
The Panthers took the top 7 places:

3. (SR) Rachael Baker 20:27
4. (SR) Abby Baker 20:35
5. (SO) Caroline Mulrey 21:08
6. (JR) Shawna Ryan 21:29
7. (SO) Kelsey Tierney 21:37
"I was pleased with today’s result…as we ran some solid times on our home course….and had a better overall team effort than last week against Hanover, coach Keith Erwin said after the meet. "I am most happy about our top 5 pack time of 41 seconds. We will need to be even faster when we face Hingham at home in two weeks."
