The Whitman-Hanson girls cross country team won the Patriot League meet...with a total of 30 points.
The top 5 runners in the varsity race all earned medals:
1- (SR) Gianna Cacciatore 19:01
3- (SR) Rachael Baker 19:23
5- (SO) Caroline Mulrey 19:46
9- (SO) Kelsey Tierney 20:06
12- (SO) Megan Concannon 20:42
The JV race was lead by 2 impressive performances:
1- (JR) Kathleen Duffey 21:43
2- (FR) Abbie Newman 21:48
"This was a solid TEAM effort today...as two of our regular top 5 were not healthy," coach Keith Erwin said. " I am proud of the way the girls stepped it up. We have had 3 tough races 8 days apart...now we can focus on EMASS which is 2 weeks from today. Getting everyone healthy is priority number one."
