The Whitman-Hanson girls cross country team finished off their dual meet season with wins over North Quincy (19-43) as well as Quincy 15-50...and finish as Patriot League champions 9-0.
The lady Panthers took 7 out of the top 8 places in the tri-meet at Whitman-Hanson (3.1mi):
1st- (SR) Gianna Cacciatore 18:56
3rd- (FR) Sam Coletti 19:32
4th- (SR) Rachael Baker 19:36
5th- (SO) Caroline Mulrey 19:47
6th- (SO) Kelsey Tierney 19:58
7th- (SR) Abby Baker 20:02
This was an impressive showing today...especially since it was against a talented North Quincy team...and only 3 days after the Brown Invitational.
The girls are rounding into form nicely as we are getting prepared for the end-of-the season invites.
This was Senior night...so i just want to thank our 7 seniors for all that they have given as Whitman-Hanson cross country runners:
Abby Baker, Rachael Baker, Gianna Cacciatore, Melanie Collins, Kaitlyn Cicchese, Amanda MacVicar-Corbett, and Hannah McGee
The Seniors ended their league meet competition on a high note...as undefeated league champs all four years.
