The Whitman-Hanson girls
cross country team had a solid performance at the Brown Invitational on
Saturday at Goddard Park in Rhode Island.
2 girls earned medals in
the JV race:

The girls in the
Championship race finished 2nd overall (80 points)...only to R.I. #1 ranked
team Barrington high school.

I'm very happy with how
well the team competed and exectued today...in muddy conditions and against
tough competition. We were able to beat some quality teams and earn 5 medals on
the day. I was most happy about our 44 second 1-5 gap and that we were able to
beat a very good Massachusetts team...Amherst Regional. We are right where we
need to be right now.
