The Whitman Hanson girls soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with Scituate. The game was dominated by the defense on both sides. Alyssa Eaton, Haley Bukow, and Nicole Galewski led the Panther defense in front of goalkeeper Lauren Clark. Freshman Alexis Fruzzetti put Whitman Hanson ahead 1-0 with a blast from 20 yds out. Scituate got the equalizer 15 minutes later and the defenses held from there.
