The Whitman-Hanson girls tennis team lost to Hingham by the score of 4-1.
Whitman-Hanson is now 2-1...(0-1) in the Patriot League.
The only win for WH was at 3rd singles...(so) Arianna Comendul 7-5, 7-6 (7-2).
Uylna Ngeta also played well at 2nd singles.
From coach Erwin:
We knew that Hingham was a strong team coming in...they are traditionally one of the best teams in the state. Even though we only won one match, I was pleased with how most of them competed....especially Arianna who fought for every point and showed her athleticism and desire to win.
