Boys Soccer Comes Up Short in Opener

The Whitman Hanson Boys Soccer Team dropped their non-Leage Home open to Pembroke 2 – 1. Pembroke’s Andrew Gray scored the 1st goal of the game at the 10 minute mark of the 1st half. The panthers answered the goal a little over a minute later on a goal by Will Roache. The Game stayed tied until the 30th minute of the second half when Jake Higgins beat 2 defenders and slipped the ball just past a diving Jason Malloy. The Panthers had a few other chances but just couldn’t put another one in. The Panthers will be home again on Monday at 4 pm against Quincy.
