The Whitman Hanson girls soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 4-1 win over Marshfield. Alexis Fruzzetti put the Panthers up 1-0 when she finished off a cross from Marina Kelly. The Panthers took the 1-0 lead to halftime and then erupted in the second half. Marina Kelly took a nice feed and dribbled by the Marshfield keeper to make it 2-0. Just 4 minutes later Kelsey Gilbert was fouled 25yds out from the Marshfield net and Lily Higgins stepped up and drilled the free kick in to the side netting. Lindsay Anderson would cap the scoring for Whitman Hanson when she took a Marina Kelly feed and fired a low shot in to the right corner. The defense of Hayley Bukow, Hayley Wells and Stephanie Warn played outstanding in front of keeper Lauren Clark (8 saves). Casey Corr, Taylor Robertson and Rachel Kelly all turned in outstanding performances.
