Key West, Florida - Sophomore Jared Spillane exploded for 16 points and 10 rebounds and senior captain Shane Devlin tossed in a team high 17 points to lead Whitman-Hanson to a 70-53 win over Key West on the teams annual trip south. Whitman-Hanson led by 3 at the half but opened up a double digit lead in the third quarter by holding Key West's leading scorer (15 first half points) without a field goal. Senior Zach Downey was the defensive stopper in the box and 1 defense while also scoring 11 points on the offensive end. Senior Brian Feeney was the fourth Panther in double figures with 12 points while Cory Cocchi tossed in 8. Whitman-Hanson is off tomorrow before travelling up the keys to Marathon High School on Monday.
