Another Impressive Day for WH Wrestling

The Whitman-Hanson Wrestling team traveled to Bridgewater-Raynham on saturday to compete against B-R, Braintree, BC High and Barnstable. The team split on the day winning two meets, one against Barnstable (47-36) and the other against state ranked Bridgewater-Raynham (42-33). W-H's two loses came to state ranked Braintree 42-30 and BC High by a 42-36 margin, both were exciting close competitions. Continueing his dominance of the 106 lb. weight class was sophmore Kyle Tamelevich who compiled 4 wins on the day, 3 by pin. First year wrestler and sophmore Mike McDonough (120 lbs.) had two wins on the day with a 17-14 battle against BC High and pinning his Barnstable opponent. Junior Tysun Plousse (132 lbs.)  and Captain Rob Bunszell (145 lbs.) and Sophmore Nate Perkins recorded 3 wins on the day to continue their winning ways. At 152 lbs. Captain Zach Perkins impressively pinned his way through the day with 4 wins all by pin. The Panthers head to Quincy this Thursday night for a league match up.
