Patriot League Boys Basketball

Hanover – The Whitman-Hanson boys basketball team grabbed a 2-nothing lead in the first minute of the game, but Hanover took control from there and led the rest of the night until the Panthers tied it up late and took their second lead of the night with 35 seconds left when senior Captain Brian Feeney scored the final 2 of his game high 29 points on a spin dribble layup to lift the Panthers to a thrilling 58-54 road win over Hanover in Patriot League action.  Senior captain Shane Devlin tossed in 13 while sophomore Nick Smith chipped in with 8 for Whitman-Hanson (12-3, 7-3).  Senior Zach Downey drilled 2 free throws with 8 seconds left to seal the win.  Junior Jack Buckley led the Indians with 22.
