WH cheerleaders win state title

It was an incredible day for the Whitman-Hanson cheerleaders today who captured the division 2 state championship at Tantasqua High School in Fiske, Massachusetts. The girls, who captured the south regional title last week at Whitman-Hanson, turned in their best performance of the year with a flawless performance. The team showcased their tremendous athleticism and incredible teamwork. This is our schools 6th cheerleading state championship and first since 2011. Head coach Tanisha King has done a phenomenal job with a very young team. The squad has just one senior, Ashleigh Cancella who has been an outstanding leader for the group. The girls will move on now to New England's and the Nationals. Please go to our twitter account at whathletics for pictures and videos of this memorable day for Whitman-Hanson.
