Whitman-Hanson Girls Track

The official results are not yet available but an educated guess has the Whitman-Hanson Girls winning over North Quincy by a 75-25 score.  Samantha Coletti set a new school Indoor Mile record with an impressive 5:06.  Senior Captain Kelsey Tierney ran a state qualifying 1000 meter race.  Caroline Mulrey also ran a State qualifying 2 Mile.  Freshman Patricia Cole posted a high jump of 4' 9" to qualify for the State Championship Meet as well.  All these runners finished first for their team this evening.  In addition, the girls 4 x 400 team of Samantha Coletti, Lillian Perkins, Jill O'Leary and Nicole Norve easily qualified for the State Championship with a 4:18 finish.
