Middleboro- Seniors Colin Josselyn (4.00 5 3 0 1 3 0) and Mike Gould (3.00 1 0 0 2 2 0) combined to hold Middleboro to just 6 hits and zero earned runs to lift Whitman-Hanson to a 5-3 road win in the season opener. The Panthers scored all 5 of their runs in the second inning with Ryan Larkin, Nick Haley, Nate Perkins, Nick Villanueva and Josselyn all driving in runs. The win gave new Coach Chris Catanoso a win in his debut as Whitman-Hanson head coach.
