Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse

The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played at Hanover in a league match up this afternoon. Hanover controlled the majority of the draws and the tempo for the entire game en route to a 17-4 win. The Panthers defense had to work extremely hard the full 50 minutes as Hanover was in possession early and often. Caitlin McCormick, Taylor McVeigh, Jess Nihan, Rachel Kelly, Rachel Spillane, and Mel McAleer helped keep Hanover to only 3 goals in the second half. The lone bright spot on offense was Kelly who had all four goals for WH (one assisted by Spillane). The loss brings the Panthers to 3-2 on the season (2-1 league).
