The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played Oliver Ames at home in a non-league match-up. The Panthers scored the first goal on a nice feed from Arica McCarthy to Rylee Holmes. That was the last time they would hold the lead. Oliver Ames had the majority of the draw controls in this contest and without the ball the Panthers couldn't do much on the offensive end. Scoring for the Panthers was McCarthy (3 goals, 2 assists), Rachel Kelly (2 goals, 2 assists), Holmes (2 goals), Kaity Carpenter (1 goal), Rachel Spillane (1 goal), and Emily Mossman (1 goal). Gabby Majenski and Jess Nihan also had an assist each. Aylyssa Nicholson played well in goal with 8 saves. The 19-9 loss puts the Panthers at 4-7 on the season (3-2 league).
