Whitman-Hanson Volleyball defeats Norwell 3-0

Whitman-Hanson traveled to Norwell and earned their 7th win of the season winning 3-0. Game scores were 25-9, 25-12 and 25-22. In the first set the Panthers played well and earned the win on tough serving from Allie Spyropoulos and Jess Nihan. Nihan earned 5 aces in the first set alone. In the second set the Panthers struggled to get their passing on target which allowed Norwell to earn several easy points. In the third and deciding set the Panthers allowed the Clippers from Norwell to hang around with sloppy passing and errors in serve receive. The Clippers continued to serve well but the Panther offense was too strong and sealed with the win with key plays at the net. Playing well for the Panthers tonight were Halle Julian with 6 kills and Jordyn Keith with 4 kills. The Panthers are at the half way point of their season and find themselves matching their win totals from the past two seasons. The Panthers head to Duxbury on Wednesday night.
