WH Girls Lacrosse

The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played Plymouth South today at home and came away with a 22-3 win. The Panthers came roaring out of the gate and scored 4 goals in the first 5 minutes. They didn't let up as they took a 14-2 lead into the half. WH defense played so well that starter Kasey Molito only saw 7 shots and saved 5 in the first half. The Panthers had 16 assists on their 22 goals. Rachel Kelly led the way with 4 goals and 3 assists. Lauren Bonavita ( 4 assists ), Rylee Holmes ( 2 assists ), and Gabby Majenski ( 2 assists ) each had a hat trick. Also scoring for the Panthers was Mikayla White (2 goals, 2 assist), Taylor McVeigh ( 2 goals, 1 assist), Ali Joanis ( 1 goal, 2 assists), Emily Burnett ( 2 goals), and Connor Holland and Riley MacDonald with their first goals of the year. The win puts the Panthers at 7-5 on the season ( 4-2 league ).
