The Whitman-Hanson Field Hockey Panthers played against the East Bridgewater Vikings today in East Bridgewater. The Panthers won the game by a score of 3-1. This victory is the first Varsity win by the Panthers since the revival of field hockey in Whitman-Hanson three years ago. The Panthers jumped to an early lead when Senior Captain Kristin Arthur scored within the first 5 minutes of the game. Kristin Arthur scored again 10 minutes later to put the Panthers up 2-0 going to the half. Senior forward Mikayla White scored in the second half to put the Panthers up 3-0 over the Vikings. The Vikings scored off a penalty corner to make the score 3-1. The game ended with both teams making rushes toward each others nets.
