The Whitman Hanson Girls soccer team improved to 2-0 with a 6-1 victory over Pembroke. Pembroke took a 1-0 lead 15 minutes in to the match and then it was all Whitman Hanson from there. Lauren Bonavita(4 goals) put Whitman Hanson up 2-1 at the half with two blasts from out deep. Lauren picked up where she left off in the second half netting two more goals and putting Whitman Hanson up 4-1. Sophomore Riley Bina followed Bonavitas' scoring with 2 goals of her own. The defense of Betty Blake, Sammy Smith, Olivia Johnson and Elana Wood limited Pembroke's chances and helped goalkeepers Katie Amado and Skylar Kuzmich earn the win in goal. Lexi Grazioso, Alexis Billings and Madeline Nagle turned in strong performances.
