The Whitman-Hanson Field Hockey Panthers lost 2-1 against the Silver Lake Lakers. In the first half, Silver Lake earned the first tally within the first 10 minutes. The first half closed with Tina Woodward scoring her 3rd goal of the season. With the score tied, the Lakers controlled the ball throughout the second half. The Panthers defense was outstanding at holding off the flurry of Laker offensive rushes. The Lakers got the game winner with just 3 minutes left in the game to get the win. The Panthers are back in action Tuesday in East Bridgewater.
