Whitman-Hanson Varsity Volleyball Game Write Up Rockland @ Home 9/11/17

The Whitman-Hanson Panthers opened their season with Rockland at home, battled hard but could not overcome their struggles losing 3-1.. The game scores were 25-18, 25-18, 28-26 and 25-19. The Panthers had difficulty in their passing and transitions. Both teams played back forth throughout the match with good rallies, each team taking and giving away leads. The Panthers had an exciting third set winning with high energy in extra points. Playing well tonight for the Panthers was Madison Adams, Maya Faich and Alexis Connolly with digs and serve receives in back row defense. Halle Julian and Cathryn Johnson kept the Panthers in the game with good serves. The Panthers start the season 0-1 and host Silver Lake at home Wednesday.
