Whitman-Hanson volleyball traveled to Quincy Friday for a league match and the Panthers lost 0-3. The set scores were 16-25 (Q), 17-25 (Q) and 17-25 (Q).
The Panthers began the match strong with quick transitions but lost their momentum. Whitman-Hanson was unable to compete with Quincy attacks. Leaders on the court include senior setter Kylie Gervasio with fast movements and consistent sets. Junior Julia Harrington played confident defensive against a strong Quincy outside attack. Senior outside hitter Allison Hanlon put up consistent attacks keeping Quincy on their toes.
The Panthers are 2-5 overall, 2-4 in league play and host Plymouth South Wednesday 9/26.
