The Whitman-Hanson Boys Cross Country team (3-4) downed the visiting Scituate Sailors 21-40. The Panthers placed 8 of the top 10 runners with SO Theo Kamperides (1st, 17:44) and JR Brandon Hager (2nd, 17:48) leading the way. Also scoring for the Panthers on its home 5K course were SO Liam Cafferty (5th, 18:40), FR Evan Jewett (6th, 18:41), and JR Captain Adam Solari (7th, 18:45.) Also running well for W-H were JR Nick Hanley (8th, 18:48), SO Chris MacDonald (9th, 18:53) and SO Matt Butler (10th, 18:59.)
GIRLS
The Whitman Hanson Girls Cross Country team (3-4) placed 6 of the top 7 runners in its 18-44 win over Scituate Tuesday afternoon. JR Tori Boss (1st, 21:28) , SR Captain Maeve McDonough (2nd, 21:47), JR Niki Kamperides (4th, 22:13), SR Dorothy DiMascio-Donohue (5th, 23:01) and FR Sarah Boulger (6th, 23:04) all scored for the Panthers on its 5K course. Also performing well were FR Anna Flynn (7th, 23:09) and JR Tori Carleton (9th, 23:29.)
