The WH golf team dropped their fourth match of the season
(third in a row) today to Plymouth North at Plymouth Country Club 250-267. The
loss puts the Panthers at 5-4 overall and 4-4 in the league.
Senior captains Owen Manning and Ed Scriven led the team
in scoring with 6 over par and 8 over par performances, respectively.
The team heads into the long weekend with a tough road
ahead of them, as next week they will face off against Duxbury, Silver Lake,
Hingham, and Plymouth South - all solid opponents. Despite the heavy schedule,
the team is confident they can bounce back and get things rolling in the right
direction soon.
There is nothing more important than giving our best effort, all of the time. On an exam day, a good effort means that students attempt everything, even if that means they need to come back at lunch or after school.
