WH Volleyball vs. Pembroke 10/2


Whitman-Hanson volleyball hosted Pembroke Tuesday for a league match and the Panthers suffered a tough loss 2-3. The set scores were 25-22 (WH), 26-24 (P), 20-25 (P), 25-23 (WH) and 11-15 (P). The Panthers began the match strong with a win in the first set but were unable to keep pace with Pembroke. Leaders on the court include senior setter Kylie Gervasio with a solid 4 sets of play and 24 assists. Senior middle Erin Leahy played an explosive match at the net and scored 15 kills. Junior defensive specialist Brooke Beauregard played fantastic defensive in the back row for all 5 sets of the match.   The Panthers are 2-7 overall, 2-6 in league play and travel to Scituate on Friday 10/5.
