Whitman-Hanson volleyball traveled to Silver Lake Monday for a league match and the Panthers won 3-1. The set scores were 25-27 (SL), 25-14 (WH), 25-19 (WH) and 25-18 (WH). The Panthers dropped the first set but played strong to win the last 3. The Panthers played tough in new defensive positioning. Leaders on the court include Senior outside Allison Hanlon with a standout match and 15 kills, Junior defensive specialist Julia Harrington with fast defense and consistent serves and Junior Tri-captain Alexis Connolly played aggressive at the net and served hard for her team. The Panthers are 5-8 overall, 5-7 in league play and travel to Hingham on Wednesday 10/17.
