whitman hanson girls' soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls' soccer team improved to 7-1-2 with a 1-0 win over Patriot league rival Scituate. Both teams battled to a 0-0 score at the half. Whitman Hanson got on the board when Kelsee Wozniak ran on to a through ball from Delaney Hall and out ran two Scituate defenders before sliding the ball in to the net. The Whitman Hanson defense of Samantha Smith, Sam Perkins, Erin Wood and Courtney Woodward were outstanding in front of keeper Skylar Kuzmich who made 7 saves in the goal. Olivia Borgen, and Riley Bina also had strong performances for the Panthers.
