The Whitman Hanson boys basketball team defeated Viera High School in its final game of the Haines City Christmas tournament in Florida, 63-57. Junior Ben Rice was named to the all tournament team scoring 13 tonight (53 points over the three games).
4 players had double figures for the Panthers, Sophomore Cole Levangie (12), Colby Ahern (11) and Jonathan Zeidan (10). Whitman Hanson won 2 of 3 in the tournament to improve to 5-2. The team will spend the next three days in Florida before returning home to continue with Patriot League action.
