Whitman-Hanson Wrestling hosted Patriot League opponent Pembroke and lost a hard fought match 42-40. This was our 7th match that was decided by 6 points or less. Winners for the Panthers included 126 pound Bethany Ralph 10-0, 152 pound Junior Captain Steve Brooks with a pin in 3:29, and 220 pound Mike Gardner with a pin in :41. Other winners for WH included 138 pound Damari Goldsmith-Greene, 145 pound Joel McInnis, 182 pound Jason Rapoza and 285 pound Rocco Ruffini.
The panthers are currently 3-14 overall and 0-4 in the Patriot League. WH travels to King Phillip HS on Saturday for a quad meet.
