The WH golf squad enjoyed their day at Marshfield Country Club (par 35), but dropped their second match of the season to the Rams 251-283 to fall to 0-2 on the season.
Despite the loss, there were some bright spots on the day, one being the 7 over performance of senior Graham Stewart. Stewart had two birdies on the day to lead the Panthers in scoring. Not far behind him was senior captain Aidan Miller, who carded an 8 over par 43, including four pars on the day.
With the shortened season in place, the Panthers are scheduled to have their senior night match tomorrow against an underrated Plymouth North team, with six senior Panthers being celebrated.
On Thursday, the team travels to the prestigious Duxbury Yacht Club to take on the perennial powerhouse Dragons.
