WH vs Duxbury Field Hockey 10/05/20

The Whitman-Hanson Field Hockey Panthers played on the road against the Duxbury Dragons and lost 2-1.  During the first quarter the Dragons and Panthers exchanged offensive chances.  The Dragons were able to capitalize before the half with a shot that took place at the highest point of the arc.  Duxbury was able to score again in the third after shutting down a Panthers offensive surge.  Right off the draw, the Panthers went down to the Dragons end and scored within 10 seconds of the Dragons goal.  Junior Olivia Phelps scored her first of the year with help from Junior forward Lauren Dunn.  The Dragons were able to hold off multiple attempts by the Panthers to score in the closing moments of the fourth.
