WH Head Coach Recap 2.3 vs Hingham

Hingham Harbormen defeated the Whitman-Hanson Panthers tonight 5-2 in their second and final regular season meeting.  The Harbormen started the scoring in the first with 3 even strength goals.  The Panthers held them off the board in the 2nd. The Harbormen did score two more in the 3rd, one of them being on the power play.

The Panthers scored 2 goals on the power play in the 3rd. One by senior defensemen Josh Pike, who netted his first goal of the year, and junior forward John Ward added the second one with a great cross ice feed from sophomore Matt Solari.

Panthers senior goaltender Bobby Siders stopped 37 shots taken by the Harbormen.

This young Whitman-Hanson Panthers team continues to show great progress throughout this season by putting up 14 shots on net tonight;  which more than doubled what they had two weeks ago when they first faced the Harbormen.

Whitman-Hanson will face Plymouth North at home, on Saturday, in the 2nd and final regular season meeting between the two teams.
