Update

We still have a few weeks left in the Fall 2 season before we finish the year with spring sports. We held our spring pre season meetings with parents, students and coaches this past week. As a reminder, www.whathletics.com has a link to the tryout checklist. Please refer to that to be sure everything is in order.
Unfortunately, Covid shutdown all 3 levels of our football team this week which gave us the reminder how important it is to stay diligent in safety protocols. The teams worked hard with various virtual activities to remain engaged during the shutdown. The varsity team returns to action Thursday at home at 6pm.

The third week of virtual trials was productive for the boys track and field team. Top scoring honors went to junior Jacob Donovan who won 3 events with PRs in 55m and 300m. Jacob lead off the 4 x 200 relay and tallied 16.25 points. In 2nd place this week was Jake Caterer (13.25 pts)who remains the points leader over the first three weeks. Theo Kamperides won the mile and two mile for 10 points. Chase Baker scored 10 points and Chris Blackman scored 9 points in a variety of events. Liam Cafferty won the 1000m and a close second to Theo in the mile ( 8 points) Once again overall the team showed great improvement with 37 PRs (personal records) this week. Looking forward to warm weather next week!

The Patriot League girls Track and Field Meet #3, Fall 2 edition, saw 16 Personal Records set for the Girls team. Top performers for the week included Junior April Keyes, winning the 55 Meter Hurdles and the 55 Meter and 300 Meter Dash events and placing 2nd in the High Jump. April also ran the anchor leg of the 4 x 200 Meter Relay. Junior Captain Myah Kamperides took both the Mile and 2 Mile races and finished 2nd in the Long Jump to score 13 points. And Senior Captain Hailey Minicucci scored 9.25 points with a win in the Long Jump and a 2nd place finish in the 300. Hailey also ran as a member of the 4 X 200 Relay team.
