SAVANNAH DiMAMBRO AS NEW VARSITY CHEERLEADING HEAD COACH
14x MA State Champions Program Announces Coaching Hire; Tryouts Scheduled for June 12–13
WHITMAN, MA — Whitman-Hanson Regional High School is proud to announce the appointment of Savannah DiMambro as the new Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach for the 2026–27 season. DiMambro brings over 13 years of competitive cheerleading coaching experience to the Panthers, a program renowned for its excellence with 14 Massachusetts State Championships.
A Hanson resident and former varsity cheerleader herself — including serving as captain during her senior year at Abington High School — DiMambro earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and her MBA in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. She went on to cheer at the collegiate level for SNHU. Her passion for the sport, however, never left the gym.
Since 2017, DiMambro has served as an All Star Head Coach, earning USASF Certification at Levels 1–6 and leading teams to national championship rankings at prestigious events including Cheerleading Worlds, The Summit, NCA, and Cheersport Nationals. She also served as President of the Abington Youth Cheerleading program from 2021 to 2024, where she grew the program from 70 to 130 athletes in just two seasons. Most recently, she has been Head Coach at A-List Athletics MA in Weymouth.
“Savannah brings an extraordinary combination of competitive coaching experience, deep ties to our community, and a genuine passion for developing student-athletes. Her track record of growing programs and achieving results at the highest levels of the sport makes her an outstanding fit for the Whitman-Hanson Varsity Cheer family. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Panthers coaching staff and look forward to a tremendous season ahead.”
— Bob Rodgers, Athletic Director, Whitman-Hanson Regional High School
DiMambro expressed her enthusiasm for taking the helm of the storied Panthers program:
“I am incredibly excited and honored to have the opportunity to coach the Whitman-Hanson cheerleaders. Cheerleading has always been a huge part of my life, and my experience, passion, and dedication to athlete development have truly led me to this moment. I look forward to building a positive, competitive, and hardworking program where athletes can grow not only in skill, but also in confidence, leadership, and teamwork. I am passionate about creating an environment that pushes athletes to reach their full potential while also making lasting memories and building strong team culture. Here’s to continuing the Lady Panther legacy!”
— Savannah DiMambro, Varsity Cheer Head Coach
