The Whitman-Hanson girls cross country team beat Quincy/North Quincy @ Pageant Field (2.5mi)by the score of 18-41.
Whitman-hanson is now 2-0 on the season.

From Coach Erwin:
"Even though the course was only 2.5 miles, the heat made race conditions tough….but then again, the conditions were the same for everybody. We battled and I’m happy with the girls efforts. We still need to close the gap from our #1 to #5 runners….today we were at 1:46…and we need to get down to about 1 minute. I’m confident that we can do that…the season is still young."
