Girls LAX Wins Opener

The Whitman Hanson girls lacrosse team won their first game of the season defeating Pembroke today at home 10-5. The panthers were led by senior Melissa peck with four goals and one assist, and junior Jackie Sullivan with three goals. Also scoring for the Panthers were senior Taylor Cahill, junior Caily Blauss, and sophomore Stephanie Warn each with one goal. Meghan Mahoney had a great game in net with 10 saves. It was a solid team effort, and a great start to our season. The Panthers next contest is Thursday when they take on Scituate at home.
