WH Wrestling Comes Up Short

If you are a fan of wrestling then there was no better place to be on Wednesday night than Hingham High School. The W-H Panthers faced off against the state ranked Hingham Harbormen for the Patriot League-Keenan Division Championship. Both teams packed the venue with fans and with the lights off in the gym and only a spot light hanging over center mat the atmosphere was electric. There were many close matches that went the Harbormens way and the final score of the meet went in Hinghams favor 46-18. Pulling out a hard fought wins for the Panthers was Tyson Plause (126 lbs) winning 13-12 and Greg McGrath (195 lbs) won his match 11-6. Both Zach Perkins (152 lbs) and Jeff Bechen (160 lbs) recorded pins.

The Panthers head next to Plymouth North 2/2/13 to face of with Oliver Ames, Plymouth North and New Bedford.
