Tryout Information
Boys’ Outdoor Track 2013:
Practices will begin at 2:20 daily and will run approximately 2 hours. Students are encouraged to receive extra help, work on assignments in the library or to come to room 326 to work on homework prior to practice. On Saturdays practice will begin at 9:30 at the high school and will also run approximately 2 hours.
Practice will take place at a variety of work stations based upon what the team and coaching staff wish to accomplish and the weather. All typical stations have been listed below. Most practices consist of both conditioning for running events as well as work specific to strength training, relays, or field events.
Work Stations:
The track, shot put circle, discus circle, javelin runway, long jump pits, high jump area, the road (distance and mid distance routes), parking lot areas (measured with the distance wheel), the weight room, and the indoor track.

Panther Baseball 2013
(Tryouts 3.18 to 3.23.13)
Monday 3.18.13 Practice 2-4p.m. GYM
All candidates report to the gym at 2 p.m. ready for practice.
You will need gloves, sneakers, baseball hats, an athletic tee shirt (red, gray or black) and athletic shorts (red, gray or black)
Tuesday 3.19.13 to Friday 3.22.13 Practice 2-4 p.m. GYM/subject to change
All candidates report to the gym at 2 p.m. ready for practice.
You will need gloves, sneakers, hats, tee shirt, shorts baseball bats and catchers gear. If practice is moved outside you will need your baseball pants, long sleeve baseball shirt and baseball cleats
Saturday 3.23.13 Practice 11a.m.-1 p.m. GYM/subject to change
All candidates report to the gym at 11 a.m. ready for practice.
You will need all essential baseball equipment and clothing
