3 in a row for boys soccer

The Whitman Hanson Panthers  posted a 3 game winning streak with an upset win over Duxbury 2 -1.  The Panthers opened up the scoring in the 1st half at the 12th minute mark on a goal by Tom Chmura off an assist by Brian McGahan.    Duxbury answered the goal at the 25th minute with a penalty kick by Calder Stames that Panther goalie Jason Malloy just got a hand on.  The panthers did not let down and at the 33rd minute of the 1st half, the game winning goal was a beautiful header by Captain Mike Auld off a corner kick by Jake Winnett.   Stephen Stephansky had an outstanding game at sweeper.  A great effort by the entire team.  The Panthers are now 3 – 6 – 0 overall and Duxbury is 6 – 3 – 0 .
