Boys Golf Wins First Of Season

The Whitman-Hanson golf team earned their first win of the season today in their home opener at Ridder Farm Golf Club defeating Quincy 239-270. The Panthers rebounded from a tough loss last week to even their record at 1-1. Sophomore Cole Manning led all scorers with an impressive 2 over par 36, while senior captain Shane Devlin and junior Sam Perkins each shot a 4 over par 38. The team hopes to keep up their solid play tomorrow as they will play host to a perennially tough Pembroke team.
